Elementary Food Drive
If Sawtooth students can bring in more than 500 items for a food drive, Mr. Hoffman is offering to shave his head, on stage, at the talent show on Wed. June 1st, as the culminating event.  The winning class gets to shave his head in whatever pattern they want (zebra stripes, leopard spots, mohawk, bald, half-shaved... etc...).  The class that brings in the most food gets a party, and if the school brings in more than 500 items overall, he gets his head shaved.

On April 27th there was an  Assembly for High School students (9-12 grades) that had been arranged by Sheriff Pat Eliasen. This presentation focused on Teen Alcohol and Drug Use, dangers of distracted and impaired driving and the lifetime effects decisions can have. All students had access to supportive services if needed during the presentation and in the days following. The event was recorded and will be posted as soon as it is ready for parents and community members. This is an excellent opportunity to speak with your child(ren) about the lifetime impacts decisions surrounding alcohol, drugs and distracted and impaired driving can make. If your child(ren) needs supportive services, please feel free to contact Anna Sandstrom or Kris Hoffman at 387-2271. Copy and paste this link to view the program:
