Flyer for the 2026 Annual Youth Basketball Camp hosted by Cook County Community Education ISD #166. The camp is open to all Cook County youth (girls and boys) entering grades 5–8. It is a two-day camp on August 5–6, from 8:30–10:30 a.m., held at the YMCA Gym due to construction. The registration fee is $45, with scholarships available.  The flyer includes a program description stating that campers will build basketball fundamentals, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship through drills, games, and skill development in shooting, ball handling, and defense. The camp is facilitated by Varsity Coach Riley and the CCHS Boys Basketball Team. All materials are provided; participants should bring a water bottle. Flyer for a free “Family Canoeing & Camping Skills Share – June” event hosted by Friends of the Boundary Waters and Cook County Community Education ISD #166. The event is open to all Cook County families and takes place on June 23 from 4–6 p.m. at Mink Lake Public Access. Participation is limited to 20 people.  A description explains that the program is designed for families interested in camping and outdoor activities who want to learn or improve their skills. Activities include canoeing on Mink Lake, setting up tents, packing for a camping trip, and other camping tips and tricks. The session is led by Sarah Bransford of Friends of the Boundary Waters.  Registration is online, opening June 8 and closing June 19. Participants register through ISD #166 Community Education. A QR code and website link are provided for registration.
