Reminder: Sawtooth Mountain Elementary Playdate is today, August 23rd from 3:15-4:15 pm at the Sawtooth Elementary Playground. (In case of rain, check the entry door by the playground for directions to our location).

Cook County Schools was awarded a grant to upgrade and install school bus stop arm cameras. Safety is a number one priority for the district and the stop arm cameras will ensure that the bus drivers can keep their focus on the roadway and students, while still being able to report violations in an effort to decrease/mitigate this safety hazard. What can you do to help? Stop…when you see a school bus displaying red flashing lights and/or a stop arm. Slow down…anytime you see a big yellow school bus and pay attention. Sawtooth Mountain Elementary Playdate August 23rd.

Tonight at 5pm in Pam Taylor gymnasium, fall sports meeting for all athletes 7-12th grade and parents. Meet the coaches and learn more about the sport during the breakout session. SMC will also be at the meeting to assist with anyone who has questions about physicals.
