Activities Schedule over Christmas Break: Tuesday, 12/21: Varsity Girls/Boys Basketball at home vs. Ely. Girls 4:45 Boys 6:30 Tuesday, 12/28-Wednesday, 12/29 Boys Holiday Tournament at Ely.

The 7-8th grade boys won their two games this morning against Silver Bay and against Two Harbors.

Just a reminder that there is no school December 20th through 31st. School will resume on January 3rd. Have a great holiday break!

Due to dangerous road conditions, Cook County Public Schools will be closed on Monday, December 6th. Students, paras, food service, transportation and faculty are not expected to report to school as this day will be made up on a future date. Year round employees and custodians should report to school or plan to take paid leave.

Girls Basketball will be HOME tonight, Friday 12/3 against the North Woods Grizzlies. JV begins at 4:45, Varsity at 6:30. Come cheer on the Vikings!

There will be no boys basketball game at Northeast Range next Tuesday, 12/7. They did not field a boys program this year. There will still be a varsity girls game, and that will start at 6:00 p.m.

REMINDER- Tomorrow, Tuesday 11/9, at 5:30 p.m. in the varsity gym: There will be a meeting for students and parents interested in playing a winter sport. This meeting is for students in grades 7-12. 6th grade GIRLS interested in playing basketball may also attend.

Our North Shore Girls Cross Country placed 11th at the state meet today at St. Olaf. Congrats to the runners on a great season!

Good luck to the North Shore Storm Cross Country team as they compete at the state meet today! Class 2A runners begin competition this afternoon at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN.
