Just a reminder that there is no school and no meal deliveries on December 21st through January 1st. Distance learning and deliveries for will resume on January 4th.
Remember to sign up by 8 pm on January 3rd if you wish to continue meal deliveries on January 4th by sending email to lunchrequest@isd166.org.
Tablet or Chromebook support and device exchanges will not be available over the holiday break.

Wolf Ridge Fundraiser
5th Grade is once again selling calendars to fundraise for their annual trip to Wolf Ridge. The 2021 Wolf Ridge calendar features the photography of Bryan Hansel. Financial Benefits for ISD 166
The application for Educational Benefits that your family fills out drives other income for the district far beyond Free and Reduced Meal status! Whether your student eats at school or not, the application is the basis for calculating other MN education aids. The district was able to get almost $220,000 in aid last year from this program alone.
Currently, we have received less than half of the applications from previous years. That could impact the district over $100,000 in next year's aid amount.
The deadline has been extended by the MN legislature until January 4th, 2021.
You can help impact school funding for next year! Please log into the parent portal and submit your application today! The paper form is at the link below!

Reminder to students and parents about a General Scholarships Information Session that is scheduled for Thursday at 9:00am
Patty Salo Downs from the Alworth Scholarship and David Hammer from the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation will host a General Scholarships Information Session on Thursday morning. They are eager to have students and parents join them, learn about the many opportunities, and then keep the ‘application momentum’ going through winter break!

SPIRIT WEEK
To celebrate our students' hard work and successes so far this school year, we are ending 2020 with a schoolwide Winter Spirit Week! There are dress-up days for each day of next week, along with challenges to participate in. Let's send off 2020 with uplifting fun and school spirit!

Cook County Athletics will resume in-person practices on January 11th. Until then, all athletics will be restricted to virtual training/meeting sessions. We hope this extra time will allow parents to plan for their upcoming schedules.
