South Shore Drive Bus Route Update:
Beginning November 7th the bus will again be going on the South Shore Drive to pick up and drop off students.

Woodland Sky Dancers performing for the Cook County Schools PK - 12 and Oshki Ogimaag. The performance included story telling, descriptions of the regalia, and traditional dances. The students were completely engaged and left with valuable lessons!

DATE CHANGE: The Winter Sports Parents Meeting will be on Tuesday, November 5th at 5:30pm. All parents and athletes participating in a Winter Activity should be in attendance.

Fifth grade students earned a $50 prize in a box top competition and chose to purchase kickballs for each classroom! They also created Sawtooth Elementary kickball rules. On Wednesday as part of our Vikings Pride assembly each class had a representative that received the kickball.

Free and Reduced Lunch benefits expire each October if a new free and reduced application is not submitted to school each fall. If a new application was not submitted, your child is no longer eligible for free and reduced lunch and breakfast at school. Please submit a new application. School photo retake day was scheduled for October 24th. Middle and high school photos have not arrived yet so we will have to postpone retake day. Will post an update as soon as we have a confirmed date. Thank you.
WTIP recently visited a handful of classrooms from across the school, recording students’ thoughts on bravery, courage and heroes. These field recordings will then be integrated into a larger piece set to air this Wednesday, 10/23, from 3-4. Eventually the program will also be available for streaming on their website.

The Cook County Football Team will have their first playoff game on the road tomorrow at Noble Field at the Grand Rapids High School where they will play Bigfork at 6pm.

The Cook County Volleyball team will have a home playoff game this coming Monday, October 21st at 6:30pm. No passes taken at the gate for students or adults. $9 for adults and $5 for students.
