Winter Band Concert is Rescheduled
The HS Winter Band Concert has been rescheduled for Monday, January 9th.
The 6th grade band will perform at 7pm and the 7th grade band will follow. The 8th grade band will play at 8pm and the HS band will follow.
School Attendance Matters
Tonight’s basketball game in Ely has been canceled due to weather and travel conditions.
Kindergarten was presented with lessons and picture books of Southeast Alaskan Native and Ojibwe/Anishinaabe culture.

Reminder that there is no school Dec 19 through January 2nd. School will resume on January 3rd.
Holiday Cheer for Cook County Schools! Students were treated to a Hot Cocoa Stations- PK -12 grades. Elementary created crafts and played carnival games. MS students had an exploratory day. Staff enjoy snacks together!
Cook County Schools will be implementing an E-Learning Day tomorrow, December 15th. Students should follow the E-Learning Day schedule tomorrow and as directed by their teachers. All afterschool activities are also canceled for Thursday. The band concert will be rescheduled.
Cook County Schools will be starting school on-time on Wednesday, Dec. 14th. Please travel safely this morning!

Cool Cats BOWLING team!
9th grade science students started their chemical reactions unit with a "chemistry in a bag" lab. Students observed lots of evidence that a chemical reaction happened.
