The decision to delay school - or possibly close school depending on travel conditions - will be made and communicated out by approximately 6am. Please begin to make contingency plans for both situations for Wed. Jan 5th. We are optimistic that the winds and snow will slow down enough to run school either on time or delayed by two hours in the morning, but all will depend on what happens overnight with road conditions. We are grateful for the collaboration with Cook County and local municipalities in making these decisions.

Due to dangerous road conditions, Cook County Public Schools will be closed on Monday, December 6th. Students, paras, food service, transportation and faculty are not expected to report to school as this day will be made up on a future date. Year round employees and custodians should report to school or plan to take paid leave.

There will be no boys basketball game at Northeast Range next Tuesday, 12/7. They did not field a boys program this year. There will still be a varsity girls game, and that will start at 6:00 p.m.

REMINDER- Tomorrow, Tuesday 11/9, at 5:30 p.m. in the varsity gym: There will be a meeting for students and parents interested in playing a winter sport. This meeting is for students in grades 7-12. 6th grade GIRLS interested in playing basketball may also attend.
