Activities Schedule for this week: Friday, 12/17: Alpine Skiing at Giants Ridge Friday, 12/17: Boys and Girls Basketball at ML-WR. Girls 4:45, Boys 6:30 Saturday, 12/18: Nordic Skiing at Grand Rapids Saturday, 12/18: Junior High Boys Basketball at Two Harbors. 10:00 a.m.

Due to dangerous road conditions, Cook County Public Schools will be closed on Monday, December 6th. Students, paras, food service, transportation and faculty are not expected to report to school as this day will be made up on a future date. Year round employees and custodians should report to school or plan to take paid leave.

Girls Basketball will be HOME tonight, Friday 12/3 against the North Woods Grizzlies. JV begins at 4:45, Varsity at 6:30. Come cheer on the Vikings!

There will be no boys basketball game at Northeast Range next Tuesday, 12/7. They did not field a boys program this year. There will still be a varsity girls game, and that will start at 6:00 p.m.

REMINDER- Tomorrow, Tuesday 11/9, at 5:30 p.m. in the varsity gym: There will be a meeting for students and parents interested in playing a winter sport. This meeting is for students in grades 7-12. 6th grade GIRLS interested in playing basketball may also attend.

Our North Shore Girls Cross Country placed 11th at the state meet today at St. Olaf. Congrats to the runners on a great season!

Good luck to the North Shore Storm Cross Country team as they compete at the state meet today! Class 2A runners begin competition this afternoon at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN.

Reminder that there is NO SCHOOL for students on Friday, November 5th.

There will be a winter sports meeting for all interested 7-12th grade students and parents on Tuesday, November 9th at 5:30 p.m. in the high school gym.
